These Terms apply to the website, its guides, directory pages, forms, newsletter-related pages, service-request features and other content or functionality made available through Sullivan’s Island SC.

The Site may add, edit, decline, suspend or remove directory content when reasonably necessary to maintain relevance, accuracy, site quality or compliance with these Terms.

Featured and Sponsored Placement

Some businesses or placements may receive paid featured, promoted or sponsored visibility. When paid visibility is material to how content is presented, the Site intends to distinguish that promotional placement from ordinary editorial content.

Payment for placement does not guarantee traffic, leads, rankings, sales or any other business result, and it does not convert an advertiser into an editorial recommendation.

Service Requests and Provider Introductions

When you submit a home-service or similar request, the information you provide may be used to identify, route or share the request with one or more potentially relevant service providers.

The Site does not guarantee that a provider will respond, be available, accept the job, offer a particular price, hold a particular license or insurance policy, or be suitable for your needs. Before hiring a provider, you should independently confirm qualifications, licensing, insurance, estimates, contracts and other matters relevant to the work.

Any agreement for services is between you and the provider. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Site is not a party to that contract and does not control the provider’s performance.

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site’s original text, page design, branding and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and may not be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission.

You may not use the Site to submit fraudulent requests, impersonate another person or business, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with Site operation, scrape or harvest personal information in violation of law, distribute malware, or use the Site for unlawful activity.

Automated access that materially burdens the Site, circumvents access controls or attempts to extract protected data may be restricted or blocked.
